About

Since the first earth day I remained active in environmental issues across Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Colorado.

With global climate teetering on the tipping point it’s more important than ever to make logical use of resources and not cast about following latest trends. Failure to preserve the environment while implementing change carefully and leverage existing infrastructure is irresponsible. Historically, chasing the current trend only complicates and diffuses a successful long term solution.

If we do not adopt a more responsible position at the lowest levels of community and government, we will all suffer the consequences. Unfortunately, industry and private interests are positioning themselves to take advantage of the indecision, conflicting information and inconsistencies of governments slow to adopt to quickly changing realities. The constant message suggesting the problem is the corporations and not individuals only relives the responsibility of hte individual not the root issue of global climate change.

There is no escaping the result, one way or another if we can’t pull together and address the issues locally, we all suffer the results.

“We must all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.” Benjamin Franklin
